Isaiah 10:9-11

9 aIs not bCalno like cCarchemish?
Is not dHamath like eArpad?
fIs not gSamaria like Damascus?
10As my hand has reached to hthe kingdoms of the idols,
whose carved images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria,
11shall I not do to Jerusalem and iher idols
jas I have done to Samaria and her images?”

Isaiah 36:18-19

18Beware lest Hezekiah mislead you by saying, “The Lord will deliver us.” Has any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria? 19 kWhere are the gods of lHamath and mArpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? nHave they delivered Samaria out of my hand?

Isaiah 37:12-13
