Isaiah 10:9-11

9 ^aIs not ^bCalno like ^cCarchemish?
Is not ^dHamath like ^eArpad?
^fIs not ^gSamaria like Damascus?
10 As my hand has reached to ^hthe kingdoms of the idols,
whose carved images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria,
11 shall I not do to Jerusalem and ⁱher idols
^jas I have done to Samaria and her images?”

Isaiah 36:18-20

18 Beware lest Hezekiah mislead you by saying, “The Lord will deliver us.” Has any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria? 19 ^kWhere are the gods of ^lHamath and ^mArpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? ⁿHave they delivered Samaria out of my hand? 20 ^oWho among all the gods of these lands have delivered their lands out of my hand, that the Lord should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?’”
