Isaiah 11:11

Jeremiah 31:7

A Remnant Shall Be Delivered

nor wait for the children of man.
8 And ^aethe remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations,
in the midst of many peoples,
like a lion among the beasts of the forest,
like a young lion among the flocks of sheep,
^afwhich, when it goes through, treads down
and tears in pieces, and there is none to deliver.

Zephaniah 2:9

9 Therefore, ^agas I live,” declares the Lord of hosts,
the God of Israel,

a land possessed by nettles and salt pits,
and a waste forever.
