Isaiah 11:11

11 aIn that day the Lord will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that remains of his people, bfrom Assyria, cfrom Egypt, from dPathros, from eCush,

from gElam, from hShinar, from iHamath, and from jthe coastlands of the sea.

Jeremiah 31:7

7 For thus says the Lord:
kSing aloud with gladness for Jacob,
and raise shouts for lthe chief of the nations;
proclaim, give praise, and say,

the remnant of Israel.’

Micah 2:12

12I will surely assemble all of you, O Jacob;

like sheep in a fold,

Micah 4:7

7and the lame I will make qthe remnant,
and those who were cast off, a strong nation;

Micah 5:3-8

3Therefore he shall give them up tuntil the time
when she who is in labor has given birth;

and the land of abNimrod at its entrances;
and he shall deliver us from the Assyrian

and treads within our border.

A Remnant Shall Be Delivered

7 Then adthe remnant of Jacob shall be
in the midst of many peoples
like dew from the Lord,
like showers on the grass,
which delay not for a man
nor wait for the children of man.
8And aethe remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations,
in the midst of many peoples,
like a lion among the beasts of the forest,
like a young lion among the flocks of sheep,
afwhich, when it goes through, treads down
and tears in pieces, and there is none to deliver.

Zephaniah 2:9

9Therefore, agas I live,” declares the Lord of hosts,
the God of Israel,
Moab shall become ahlike Sodom,
and the Ammonites ailike Gomorrah,
a land possessed by nettles and salt pits,
and a waste forever.
The remnant of my people shall plunder them,
and the survivors of my nation shall possess them.”

Haggai 1:12

The People Obey the Lord

12 ajThen akZerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and alJoshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all amthe remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the Lord their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the Lord their God had sent him. And the people feared the Lord.
