Isaiah 11:11-16

11 aIn that day the Lord will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that remains of his people, bfrom Assyria, cfrom Egypt, from dPathros, from eCush,
Probably Nubia
from gElam, from hShinar, from iHamath, and from jthe coastlands of the sea.

12 He will raise ka signal for the nations
and will assemble lthe banished of Israel,
and gather the dispersed of Judah
from the four corners of the earth.
13 mThe jealousy of Ephraim shall depart,
and those who harass Judah shall be cut off;
Ephraim shall not be jealous of Judah,
and Judah shall not harass Ephraim.
14 nBut they shall swoop down on the shoulder of the Philistines in the west,
and together they shall plunder othe people of the east.
They shall put out their hand pagainst qEdom and rMoab,
and sthe Ammonites shall obey them.
15And the Lord will utterly destroy
Hebrew devote to destruction

uthe tongue of the Sea of Egypt,
and will wave his hand over vthe River
with his scorching breath,
Or wind

and strike it into seven channels,
and he will lead people across in sandals.
16And there will be xa highway from Assyria
for the remnant that remains of his people,
yas there was for Israel
when they came up from the land of Egypt.

Isaiah 45:17

17But Israel is saved by the Lord
with everlasting salvation;
zyou shall not be put to shame or confounded
to all eternity.

Isaiah 54:6-10

6 aaFor the Lord has called you
like a wife deserted and grieved in spirit,
like a wife of youth when she is cast off,
says your God.
7 abFor a brief moment I deserted you,
but with great compassion I will gather you.
8 acIn overflowing anger for a moment
I hid my face from you,
adbut with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,”
says the Lord, your Redeemer.
9 This is like aethe days of Noah
Some manuscripts For this is as the waters of Noah
to me:
as I swore that the waters of Noah
should no more go over the earth,
so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you,
and will not rebuke you.
10For the mountains may depart
and the hills be removed,
but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and agmy covenant of peace shall not be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

Jeremiah 3:17-23

17At that time Jerusalem shall be called the throne of the Lord, ahand all nations shall gather to it, aito the presence of the Lord in Jerusalem, and they shall no more stubbornly follow their own evil heart. 18 ajIn those days the house of Judah shall join the house of Israel, and together they shall come from the land akof the north to althe land that I gave your fathers for a heritage.

19 “‘I said,
How I would set you among my sons,
and give you a pleasant land,
a heritage most beautiful of all nations.
And I thought you would amcall me, My Father,
and would not turn from following me.
20 anSurely, as a treacherous wife leaves her husband,
so have you been treacherous to me, O house of Israel,

declares the Lord.’”
21 A voice on the aobare heights is heard,
apthe weeping and pleading of Israel’s sons
because they have perverted their way;
they have forgotten the Lord their God.
22 aqReturn, O faithless sons;
arI will heal your faithlessness.”
Behold, we come to you,
for you are the Lord our God.
23Truly asthe hills are a delusion,
the orgies
Hebrew commotion
on the mountains.
auTruly in the Lord our God
is the salvation of Israel.

Jeremiah 30:17-22

17 avFor I will restore awhealth to you,
and axyour wounds I will heal,

declares the Lord,
because aythey have called you an outcast:
az‘It is Zion, for whom no one cares!’
18 Thus says the Lord:
Behold, baI will restore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob
and have compassion on his dwellings;
the city shall be rebuilt on bbits mound,
and the palace shall stand where it used to be.
19 bcOut of them shall come songs of thanksgiving,
and the voices of those who celebrate.
bdI will multiply them, and they shall not be few;
I will make them honored, and they shall not be small.
20 beTheir children shall be as they were of old,
and their congregation shall be established before me,
and I will punish all who oppress them.
21 bfTheir prince shall be one of themselves;
bgtheir ruler shall come out from their midst;
bhI will make him draw near, and he shall approach me,
bifor who would dare of himself to approach me?

declares the Lord.
22 bjAnd you shall be my people,
and I will be your God.”

Jeremiah 31:31-37

The New Covenant

31 bkBehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make bla new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, 32not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when bmI took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, bnthough I was their husband, declares the Lord. 33 boFor this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: bpI will put my law within them, and I will write it bqon their hearts. brAnd I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ bsfor they shall all know me, btfrom the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For buI will forgive their iniquity, and bvI will remember their sin no more.”

35 Thus says the Lord,
who bwgives the sun for light by day
and bxthe fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night,
who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar
bythe Lord of hosts is his name:
36 bzIf this fixed order departs
from before me, declares the Lord,
then shall the offspring of Israel cease
from being a nation before me forever.”
37 Thus says the Lord:
If the heavens above can be measured,
and the foundations of the earth below can be explored,
cathen I will cast off all the offspring of Israel
for all that they have done,

declares the Lord.”
