Isaiah 61:1

The Year of the Lord’s Favor

Jeremiah 5:4-5

the justice of their God.
5I will go to the great
and will speak to them,
for they know the way of the Lord,

Matthew 11:5

5 nthe blind receive their sight and the lame walk, lepers
Leprosy was a term for several skin diseases; see Leviticus 13
are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and pthe poor have good news preached to them.

Mark 12:37

37David himself calls him Lord. So qhow is he his son?” And the great throng rheard him gladly.

James 2:5

5Listen, my beloved brothers, shas not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be trich in faith and heirs of uthe kingdom, vwhich he has promised to those who love him?
