Isaiah 12

The Lord Is My Strength and My Song

1 You ^{▼▼The Hebrew for you is singular in verse 1} will say ^bin that day:
“I will give thanks to you, O Lord,
for though you were angry with me,
^cyour anger turned away,
that you might comfort me.
2 “Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for ^dthe Lord God ^{▼▼Hebrew for Yah, the Lord} is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation.”
3 ^fWith joy you ^{▼▼The Hebrew for you is plural in verses 3, 4} will draw water from the wells of salvation. 4 ^hAnd you will say in that day:

ⁱ“Give thanks to the Lord,
call upon his name,
^jmake known his deeds among the peoples,
proclaim ^kthat his name is exalted.
5 ^l“Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be made known ^{▼▼Or this is made known} in all the earth.
6 Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion,
for great ⁿin your ^{▼▼The Hebrew for your in verse 6 is singular, referring to the inhabitant of Zion} midst is ^pthe Holy One of Israel.”

Isaiah 35:10

10 ^qAnd the ransomed of the Lord shall return
and come to Zion with singing;
^reverlasting joy shall be upon their heads;
they shall obtain gladness and joy,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Isaiah 51:11

11 ^sAnd the ransomed of the Lord shall return
and come to Zion with singing;
everlasting joy shall be upon their heads;
they shall obtain gladness and joy,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Jeremiah 31:4

4 ^tAgain I will build you, and you shall be built,

Jeremiah 33:9-11
