Isaiah 12:1-3

The Lord Is My Strength and My Song

1 You
The Hebrew for  you is singular in verse 1
will say bin that day:
“I will give thanks to you, O Lord,
for though you were angry with me,
cyour anger turned away,
that you might comfort me.
2 Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for dthe Lord God
Hebrew  for Yah, the Lord
is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation.”
3 fWith joy you
The Hebrew for  you is plural in verses 3, 4
will draw water from the wells of salvation.

Isaiah 55:12

12 h“For you shall go out in joy
and be led forth in peace;
ithe mountains and the hills before you
shall break forth into singing,
and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Isaiah 57:17-18

17Because of the iniquity of his junjust gain I was angry,

tthe pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,

and satisfy the desire of the afflicted,
vthen shall your light rise in the darkness
and your gloom be as the noonday.
11And the Lord will guide you continually
and satisfy your desire in scorched places
and make your bones strong;
and you shall be wlike a watered garden,
like a spring of water,
whose waters do not fail.

Isaiah 61:10

10 xI will greatly rejoice in the Lord;
my soul shall exult in my God,
yfor he has clothed me with the garments of salvation;
he has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decks himself zlike a priest with a beautiful headdress,
aaand as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
