19 And Babylon, ^athe glory of kingdoms,

Isaiah 14:23

23 “And I will make it a possession of the ^lhedgehog, ^{▼▼Possibly porcupine, or owl} and pools of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” declares the Lord of hosts.

Jeremiah 25:9

9 ⁿbehold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, declares the Lord, and for Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, ^omy servant, and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these surrounding nations. I will devote them to destruction, ^pand make them a horror, a hissing, and an everlasting desolation.

Jeremiah 25:12

that they may be dried up!

39 ^aj“Therefore wild beasts shall dwell with hyenas in Babylon, and ostriches shall dwell in her. She shall never again have people, nor be inhabited for all generations. 40 ^akAs when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring cities, declares the Lord, ^also no man shall dwell there, and no son of man shall sojourn in her.

Jeremiah 51:25-26

29 ^apThe land trembles and writhes in pain,
