Isaiah 13:2-4

2 On a bare hill araise a signal;
cry aloud to them;
wave the hand for bthem to enter
the gates of the nobles.
3I myself have commanded my consecrated ones,
and have summoned my mighty men to execute my anger,
my proudly exulting ones.
Or those who exult in my majesty

4 The sound dof a tumult is on the mountains
as of a great multitude!
The sound of an uproar of kingdoms,
of nations gathering together!
eThe Lord of hosts is mustering
a host for battle.

Isaiah 13:17-18

17 Behold, fI am stirring up the Medes against them,
who have no regard for silver
and do not delight in gold.
18 gTheir bows will slaughter
Hebrew dash in pieces
the young men;
they will have no mercy on the fruit of the womb;
their eyes will not pity children.

Jeremiah 51:11

rThe Lord has stirred up the spirit of the kings of sthe Medes, because this purpose concerning Babylon is to destroy it, ufor that is the vengeance of the Lord, the vengeance for vhis temple.

Jeremiah 51:27-28

Daniel 5:28

28Peres, your kingdom is divided and given to althe Medes and amPersians.”
 Peres (the singular of  Parsin) sounds like the Aramaic for  divided and for Persia


Daniel 8:20

20As for aothe ram that you saw with the two horns, these are the kings of apMedia and Persia.
