Isaiah 13:20-22

20 aIt will never be inhabited
or lived in for all generations;
no bArab will pitch his tent there;
no cshepherds will make their flocks lie down there.
21But dwild animals will lie down there,
and their houses will be full of howling creatures;
there eostriches
Or owls
will dwell,
and there wild goats will dance.
22Hyenas
Or foxes
will cry in its towers,
and hjackals in ithe pleasant palaces;
its time is close at hand
and its days will not be prolonged.

Isaiah 14:22-23

22“I will rise up against them,” declares the Lord of hosts, “and will cut off from Babylon name and jremnant, kdescendants and posterity,” declares the Lord. 23“And I will make it a possession of the lhedgehog,
Possibly porcupine, or owl
and pools of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” declares the Lord of hosts.

Jeremiah 51:29

29 nThe land trembles and writhes in pain,
ofor the Lord’s purposes against Babylon stand,
to make the land of Babylon a desolation,
without inhabitant.

Jeremiah 51:62-64

62and say, ‘O Lord, you have said concerning this place that you will cut it off, so pthat nothing shall dwell in it, neither man nor beast, and it shall be qdesolate forever.’ 63When you finish reading this book, r, stie a stone to it tand cast it into the midst of the Euphrates, 64and say, uThus shall Babylon sink, to rise no more, because of the disaster that I am bringing upon her, vand they shall become exhausted.’”

Revelation of John 18:21-23

21Then wa mighty angel xtook up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying,

So will Babylon ythe great city be thrown down with violence,
and will be found no more;
22and zthe sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters,
will be heard in you no more,
and a craftsman of any craft
will be found in you no more,
and aathe sound of the mill
will be heard in you no more,
23and the light of a lamp
will shine in you no more,
and abthe voice of bridegroom and bride
will be heard in you no more,
for acyour merchants were the great ones of the earth,
and all nations were deceived adby your sorcery.
