its time is close at hand

Isaiah 14:23

23 “And I will make it a possession of the ^jhedgehog, ^{▼▼Possibly porcupine, or owl} and pools of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” declares the Lord of hosts.

Isaiah 34:11-17

11 ^lBut the hawk and the porcupine ^{▼▼The identity of the animals rendered hawk and porcupine is uncertain} shall possess it,
the owl and the raven shall dwell in it.

his hand has portioned it out to them with the line;
they shall possess it forever;
from generation to generation they shall dwell in it.

Jeremiah 25:12

12 Then after ^xseventy years are completed, ^yI will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, ^zthe land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, declares the Lord, ^aamaking the land an everlasting waste.

Jeremiah 50:12-13

12 your mother shall be utterly shamed,
and she who bore you shall be disgraced.
Behold, she shall be the last of the nations,

but shall be an utter desolation;

Jeremiah 51:26
