Isaiah 13:20-22

20 aIt will never be inhabited
or lived in for all generations;
no bArab will pitch his tent there;
no cshepherds will make their flocks lie down there.
21But dwild animals will lie down there,
and their houses will be full of howling creatures;
there eostriches
Or owls
will dwell,
and there wild goats will dance.
22Hyenas
Or foxes
will cry in its towers,
and hjackals in ithe pleasant palaces;
its time is close at hand
and its days will not be prolonged.

Isaiah 14:23

23“And I will make it a possession of the jhedgehog,
Possibly porcupine, or owl
and pools of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” declares the Lord of hosts.

Isaiah 34:11-17

11 lBut the hawk and the porcupine
The identity of the animals rendered  hawk and  porcupine is uncertain
shall possess it,
the owl and the raven shall dwell in it.
nHe shall stretch the line of oconfusion
Hebrew formlessness
over it,
and the plumb line of emptiness.
12Its nobles—there is no one there to call it a kingdom,
and all its princes shall be nothing.
13 qThorns shall grow over its strongholds,
nettles and thistles in its fortresses.
It shall be the haunt of rjackals,
an abode for ostriches.

14 tAnd wild animals shall meet with hyenas;
the wild goat shall cry to his fellow;
indeed, there the night bird

settles
and finds for herself a resting place.
15 There the owl nests and lays
and hatches and gathers her young in her shadow;
indeed, there vthe hawks are gathered,
each one with her mate.
16Seek and read from the book of the Lord:
Not one of these shall be missing;
none shall be without her mate.
For the mouth of the Lord has commanded,
and his Spirit has gathered them.
17 wHe has cast the lot for them;
his hand has portioned it out to them with the line;
they shall possess it forever;
from generation to generation they shall dwell in it.

Jeremiah 25:12

12Then after xseventy years are completed, yI will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, zthe land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, declares the Lord, aamaking the land an everlasting waste.

Jeremiah 50:12-13

12your mother shall be utterly shamed,
and she who bore you shall be disgraced.
Behold, she shall be the last of the nations,
aba wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.
13 acBecause of the wrath of the Lord she shall not be inhabited
but shall be an utter desolation;
adeveryone who passes by Babylon shall be appalled,
aeand hiss because of all her wounds.

Jeremiah 51:26

26No afstone shall be taken from you for a corner
and no stone for a foundation,
but you shall be aga perpetual waste,
declares the Lord.

Jeremiah 51:37-38

37and Babylon shall become aha heap of ruins,
aithe haunt of jackals,
aja horror akand a hissing,
without inhabitant.
38 al“They shall roar together amlike lions;
they shall growl like lionscubs.

Jeremiah 51:43

43Her cities have become a horror,
ana land of drought and a desert,
aoa land in which no one dwells,
and through which no son of man passes.

Jeremiah 51:62-64

62and say, ‘O Lord, you have said concerning this place that you will cut it off, so apthat nothing shall dwell in it, neither man nor beast, and it shall be aqdesolate forever.’ 63When you finish reading this book, ar, astie a stone to it atand cast it into the midst of the Euphrates, 64and say, auThus shall Babylon sink, to rise no more, because of the disaster that I am bringing upon her, avand they shall become exhausted.’”
