Isaiah 13:4-5

4 The sound aof a tumult is on the mountains
as of a great multitude!
The sound of an uproar of kingdoms,
of nations gathering together!
bThe Lord of hosts is mustering
a host for battle.
5 cThey come from a distant land,
from the end of the heavens,
the Lord and the weapons of his indignation,
to destroy the whole land.

Isaiah 13:17-18

17 Behold, eI am stirring up the Medes against them,
who have no regard for silver
and do not delight in gold.
18 fTheir bows will slaughter
Hebrew dash in pieces
the young men;
they will have no mercy on the fruit of the womb;
their eyes will not pity children.

Ezekiel 30:11

11He and his people with him, hthe most ruthless of nations,
shall be brought in to destroy the land,
iand they shall draw their swords against Egypt
and fill the land with the slain.

Ezekiel 31:12

12 jForeigners, kthe most ruthless of nations, have cut it down and left it. lOn the mountains and in all the valleys its branches have fallen, and its boughs have been broken in all mthe ravines of the land, and nall the peoples of the earth have gone away from its shadow and left it.
