The Restoration of Jacob
1 aFor the Lord will have compassion on Jacob and will again choose Israel, and bwill set them in their own land, and csojourners will join them and will attach themselves to the house of Jacob. 2And dthe peoples will take them and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will possess them in the Lord’s land eas male and female slaves. ▼▼Or servants
gThey will take captive those who were their captors, hand rule over those who oppressed them. Isaiah 43:4

Isaiah 52:1-6
The Lord’s Coming Salvation

jput on your beautiful garments,

be seated, O Jerusalem;

O captive daughter of Zion.
3For thus says the Lord: o“You were sold for nothing, and pyou shall be redeemed without money.” 4For thus says the Lord God: q“My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there, and the Assyrian oppressed them for nothing. ▼

5Now therefore what have I here,” declares the Lord, “seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Their rulers wail,” declares the Lord, “and scontinually all the day my name is despised. 6Therefore my people shall know my name. tTherefore in that day they shall know that it is I who speak; here I am.” Isaiah 55:5
