Isaiah 14:1-2
The Restoration of Jacob
1 aFor the Lord will have compassion on Jacob and will again choose Israel, and bwill set them in their own land, and csojourners will join them and will attach themselves to the house of Jacob. 2And dthe peoples will take them and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will possess them in the Lord’s land eas male and female slaves. ▼▼Or servants
gThey will take captive those who were their captors, hand rule over those who oppressed them. Isaiah 45:14
The Lord, the Only Savior
14 Thus says the Lord:i“The wealth of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush,
and the Sabeans, men of stature,
shall come over to you jand be yours;
they shall follow you;
they shall come over in chains and bow down to you.
They will plead with you, saying:
‘Surely God is in you, and there is no other,
no god besides him.’”
Isaiah 49:23
