16Those who see you will stare at youand ponder over you:
‘Is this athe man who made the earth tremble,
who shook kingdoms,

24Behold, bthe siege mounds have come up to the city to take it, and cbecause of sword and famine and pestilence dthe city is given into the hands of the Chaldeans who are fighting against it. What you spoke has come to pass, and behold, you see it.Jeremiah 33:4
4For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city and the houses of the kings of Judah that were torn down to make a defense against ethe siege mounds and against the sword:Jeremiah 52:4-7
4 fAnd in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came with all his army against Jerusalem, and laid siege to it. And they built siegeworks all around it. 5So the city was besieged till the eleventh year of King Zedekiah. 6On the ninth day of the fourth month the famine was so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land. 7Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled and went out from the city by night by the way of a gate between the two walls, by the king’s garden, and the Chaldeans were around the city. And they went in the direction of the Arabah.
