Isaiah 49:24-26

Isaiah 51:23

23 iand I will put it into the hand of your tormentors,
jwho have said to you,
Bow down, that we may pass over’;
and kyou have made your back like the ground
and like the street for them to pass over.”

Isaiah 52:4-6

4For thus says the Lord God: l“My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there, and the Assyrian oppressed them for nothing.
Or  the Assyrian has oppressed them of late
5Now therefore what have I here,” declares the Lord, “seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Their rulers wail,” declares the Lord, “and ncontinually all the day my name is despised. 6Therefore my people shall know my name. oTherefore in that day they shall know that it is I who speak; here I am.”

Jeremiah 50:7

7All who found them have devoured them, pand their enemies have said, ‘We are not guilty, for qthey have sinned against the Lord, rtheir habitation of righteousness, the Lord, sthe hope of their fathers.’

Jeremiah 50:17-18

17 tIsrael is a hunted sheep udriven away by lions. vFirst the king of Assyria wdevoured him, and now at last xNebuchadnezzar king of Babylon yhas gnawed his bones. 18Therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, zI am bringing punishment on the king of Babylon and his land, aaas I punished the king of Assyria.

Jeremiah 51:34-36

34 Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon abhas devoured me;
he has crushed me;
he has made me an empty vessel;
ache has swallowed me like ada monster;
he has filled his stomach with my delicacies;
he has rinsed me out.
Or  he has expelled me

35The violence done to me and to my kinsmen be upon Babylon,”
let the inhabitant of Zion say.
“My blood be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea,”
let Jerusalem say.
36Therefore thus says the Lord:
Behold, afI will plead your cause
and take vengeance for you.
agI will dry up her sea
and ahmake her fountain dry,
