Isaiah 34:1-7

Judgment on the Nations

1 Draw near, ^bO nations, to hear,
and give attention, O peoples!
Let the earth hear, and all that fills it;
the world, and all that comes from it.
2 For the Lord is enraged against all the nations,
and furious against all their host;
he has ^cdevoted them to destruction, ^{▼▼That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction); also verse 5} has given them over for slaughter.
3 Their slain shall be cast out,
and ^ethe stench of their corpses shall rise;
^fthe mountains shall flow with their blood.
4 ^gAll the host of heaven shall rot away,
and the skies roll up like a scroll.
All their host shall fall,
as leaves fall from the vine,
like leaves falling from the fig tree.
5 For my sword has drunk its fill in the heavens;
behold, it descends for judgment upon ^hEdom,
upon the people ⁱI have devoted to destruction.
6 The Lord has a sword; it is sated with blood;
it is gorged with fat,
with the blood of lambs and goats,
with the fat of the kidneys of rams.
^jFor the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah,
a great slaughter in the land of Edom.
7 ^kWild oxen shall ^lfall with them,
and ^myoung steers with ⁿthe mighty bulls.
Their land shall drink its fill of blood,
and their soil shall be gorged with fat.

Jeremiah 7:33

33 ^oAnd the dead bodies of this people will be food for the birds of the air, and for the beasts of the earth, ^pand none will frighten them away.

Jeremiah 15:3

3 ^qI will appoint over them four kinds of destroyers, declares the Lord: the sword to kill, the dogs to tear, and ^rthe birds of the air ^sand the beasts of the earth to devour and destroy.

Ezekiel 32:4-6

Revelation of John 19:17-18

17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to ^adall the birds that fly directly overhead, ^ae“Come, gather for ^afthe great supper of God, 18 ^agto eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, ^{▼▼Greek bondservant} both small and great.”
