Isaiah 14:20-22

20 You will not be joined with them in burial,
because you have destroyed your land,
you have slain your people.
“May ^athe offspring of evildoers
nevermore be named!
21 Prepare slaughter for his sons
^bbecause of the guilt of their fathers,
lest they rise and possess the earth,
and fill the face of the world with cities.”
22 “I will rise up against them,” declares the Lord of hosts, “and will cut off from Babylon name and ^cremnant, ^ddescendants and posterity,” declares the Lord.

Jeremiah 11:19

19 But I was ^elike a gentle lamb
led to the slaughter.
I did not know ^fit was against me
they devised schemes, saying,
“Let us destroy the tree with its fruit,
^glet us cut him off from ^hthe land of the living,
that his name be remembered no more.”

Jeremiah 44:27

27 ⁱBehold, I am watching over them for disaster and not for good. ^jAll the men of Judah who are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by famine, until there is an end of them.
