Isaiah 14:21

21 Prepare slaughter for his sons

lest they rise and possess the earth,
and fill the face of the world with cities.”

Isaiah 24:4-6

4 ^bThe earth mourns and withers;
the world languishes and withers;
the highest people of the earth languish.
5 The earth lies ^cdefiled
under its inhabitants;
