26 This is the purpose that is purposed
concerning the whole earth,
and this is ^bthe hand that is stretched out
over all the nations.
27 ^cFor the Lord of hosts has purposed,
and who will annul it?
^dHis hand is stretched out,
and who will turn it back?

Isaiah 20:2-5

2 at that time the Lord spoke by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, “Go, and loose the sackcloth from your waist and take off your sandals from your feet,” and he did so, walking ^enaked and barefoot.

3 Then the Lord said, “As my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot for three years ^fas a sign and a portent against Egypt and Cush, ^{▼▼Probably Nubia} 4 so shall the ^hking of Assyria lead away the Egyptian captives and the Cushite exiles, both the young and the old, naked and barefoot, with buttocks uncovered, the nakedness of Egypt. 5 ⁱThen they shall be dismayed and ashamed because of Cush their hope and of Egypt their boast.

Isaiah 46:10-11

10 ^jdeclaring the end from the beginning
and from ancient times things not yet done,
saying, ^k‘My counsel shall stand,
and I will accomplish all my purpose,’
11 ^lcalling a bird of prey from the east,
the man of my counsel from a far country.
^mI have spoken, and I will bring it to pass;
I have purposed, and I will do it.

Daniel 4:35

35 ⁿall the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing,
