2He has gone up to the temple,
Hebrew  the house
and to bDibon,
to the high places

Isaiah 16:7-11

7Therefore let Moab wail for Moab,
hlet everyone wail.
Mourn, utterly stricken,
for the iraisin cakes of jKir-hareseth.
8 For the fields of Heshbon languish,
and kthe vine of Sibmah;
the lords of the nations
have struck down its branches,
which reached to Jazer
and strayed to the desert;
its shoots spread abroad
and passed over the sea.
9Therefore lI weep with mthe weeping of Jazer
for the vine of Sibmah;
I drench you with my tears,
O Heshbon and Elealeh;
for over nyour summer fruit and your harvest
the shout has ceased.
10 oAnd joy and gladness are taken away from pthe fruitful field,
and in the vineyards no qsongs are sung,
no cheers are raised;
no rtreader treads out wine sin the presses;
I have put an end to the shouting.
11Therefore tmy inner parts moan like a lyre for Moab,
and my inmost self for Kir-hareseth.

Isaiah 22:4

4Therefore I said:
“Look away from me;
ulet me weep bitter tears;
do not labor to comfort me
concerning the destruction of the daughter of my people.”

Jeremiah 4:20-21

20 vCrash follows hard on crash;
the whole land is laid waste.
wSuddenly my tents are laid waste,
my curtains in a moment.
21How long must I see the standard
and hear the sound of the trumpet?

Jeremiah 47:2

2 Thus says the Lord:
xBehold, waters are rising yout of the north,
zand shall become an overflowing torrent;
they shall overflow aathe land and all that fills it,
