Isaiah 15:2-5

2He has gone up to the temple,
Hebrew  the house
and to bDibon,
to the high places
Or temple, even Dibon to the high places
to weep;
over dNebo and over eMedeba
Moab fwails.
On every head is gbaldness;
every beard is shorn;
3in the streets they wear sackcloth;
on the housetops and in the squares
everyone wails and melts in tears.
4 hHeshbon and iElealeh cry out;
their voice is heard as far as jJahaz;
therefore the armed men of Moab cry aloud;
his soul trembles.
5My heart cries out for Moab;
her fugitives flee to Zoar,
to kEglath-shelishiyah.
For at the lascent of Luhith
they go up weeping;
on the road to mHoronaim
they raise a cry of destruction;

Isaiah 15:8

8For a cry has gone
around the land of Moab;
her wailing reaches to Eglaim;
her wailing reaches to Beer-elim.

Isaiah 22:1

An Oracle Concerning Jerusalem

What do you mean that you have gone up,
all of you, to the housetops,

Isaiah 22:4-5

4Therefore I said:
“Look away from me;
plet me weep bitter tears;
do not labor to comfort me
concerning the destruction of the daughter of my people.”
5 qFor the Lord God of hosts has ra day
of tumult and strampling and tconfusion
in uthe valley of vision,
a battering down of walls
and a shouting to the mountains.

Jeremiah 46:13

for zat the descent of Horonaim
they have heard the distressed cry
Septuagint (compare Isaiah 15:5)  heard the cry
of destruction.

Jeremiah 48:39
