10 ^dAnd joy and gladness are taken away from ^ethe fruitful field,
and in the vineyards no ^fsongs are sung,
no cheers are raised;
no ^gtreader treads out wine ^hin the presses;
I have put an end to the shouting.

Isaiah 24:7-9

7 ⁱThe wine mourns,
the vine languishes,
all the merry-hearted sigh.
8 ^jThe mirth of the tambourines is stilled,
the noise of the jubilant has ceased,
the mirth of the lyre is stilled.
9 No more do they drink wine ^kwith singing;

Jeremiah 25:30
