The meaning of the Hebrew word is uncertain; also verse 10
has come to you, O inhabitant of the land. iThe time has come; the day is near, a day of tumult, and not jof joyful shouting on the mountains.

Ezekiel 7:10

10 kBehold, the day! Behold, it comes! lYour doom has come; mthe rod has blossomed; pride has budded.

Ezekiel 7:12

12 nThe time has come; the day has arrived. Let not othe buyer rejoice, nor pthe seller mourn, qfor wrath is upon all their multitude.
