Isaiah 2:11-17
11 aThe haughty looks of man shall be brought low,and the lofty pride of men shall be humbled,
and the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.
12 bFor the Lord of hosts has a day
against all that is proud and lofty,
against all that is lifted up—and it shall be brought low;
13against all the ccedars of Lebanon,
lofty and lifted up;
and against all the doaks of Bashan;
14against all ethe lofty mountains,
and against all the uplifted hills;
15against every high tower,
and against every fortified wall;
16against all fthe ships of Tarshish,
and against all the beautiful craft.

Isaiah 23:9
9The Lord of hosts has purposed it,hto defile the pompous pride of all glory, ▼
