against all that is proud and lofty,
against all that is lifted up—and it shall be brought low;
13against all the ccedars of Lebanon,
lofty and lifted up;
and against all the doaks of Bashan;
14against all ethe lofty mountains,

17 gAnd the haughtiness of man shall be humbled,
and the lofty pride of men shall be brought low,
and the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.

in the haunt of kjackals, where they lie down,
the grass shall become reeds and rushes.
8 lAnd a highway shall be there,
and it shall be called the Way of Holiness;
mthe unclean shall not pass over it.
It shall belong to those who walk on the way;
even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.
Or  if they are fools, they shall not wander in it

The Year of the Lord’s Favor

1 qThe Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
because the Lord has ranointed me
to bring good news to the poor;
Or afflicted

he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and tthe opening of the prison to those who are bound;
Or  the opening [of the eyes] to those who are blind; Septuagint  and recovery of sight to the blind

2 vto proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor,
wand the day of vengeance of our God;
to comfort all who mourn;
3to grant to those who mourn in Zion
xto give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
ythe oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
zthat they may be called oaks of righteousness,
the planting of the Lord, aathat he may be glorified.
Or  that he may display his beauty

Ezekiel 17:24

Luke 1:51-53
