Isaiah 13:6

6 bWail, for cthe day of the Lord is near;
as destruction from the Almighty
The Hebrew words for  destruction and  almighty sound alike
it will come!

Isaiah 13:9

9 Behold, ethe day of the Lord comes,
cruel, with wrath and fierce anger,
to make the land a desolation
and fto destroy its sinners from it.

Isaiah 34:8

8 gFor the Lord has a day of vengeance,
a year of recompense for the cause of Zion.

Ezekiel 30:3

3 hFor the day is near,
ithe day of the Lord is near;
it will be ja day of clouds,
a time of doom for
Hebrew lacks  doom for
the nations.

Joel 1:15

15 Alas for the day!
lFor the day of the Lord is near,
and as destruction from the Almighty
 Destruction sounds like the Hebrew for  Almighty
it comes.

Joel 2:1

The Day of the Lord

1 nBlow a trumpet in oZion;
sound an alarm on pmy holy mountain!
Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble,
for qthe day of the Lord is coming; it is near,

Joel 2:31

31 rThe sun shall be turned to darkness, sand the moon to blood, tbefore the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.

Joel 3:14

14 Multitudes, multitudes,
in the valley of decision!
For uthe day of the Lord is near
in the valley of decision.

Amos 5:18-20

Let Justice Roll Down

18 Woe to you who desire vthe day of the Lord!
Why would you have the day of the Lord?
wIt is darkness, and not light,
19 xas if a man fled from a lion,
and a bear met him,
or went into the house and leaned his hand against the wall,
and a serpent bit him.
20 yIs not the day of the Lord darkness, and not light,
and gloom with no brightness in it?
