Isaiah 20:4-6

4so shall the aking of Assyria lead away the Egyptian captives and the Cushite exiles, both the young and the old, naked and barefoot, with buttocks uncovered, the nakedness of Egypt. 5 bThen they shall be dismayed and ashamed because of Cush their hope and of Egypt their boast. 6And the inhabitants of cthis coastland will say in that day, ‘Behold, this is what has happened to those in whom we hoped and dto whom we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria! And we, how shall we escape?’”

Jeremiah 48:26-27

26 e“Make him drunk, fbecause he magnified himself against the Lord, so that Moab shall gwallow in his vomit, hand he too shall be held in derision. 27 iWas not Israel a derision to you? jWas he found among thieves, that whenever you spoke of him kyou wagged your head?

Ezekiel 26:16-18

16Then all lthe princes of the sea will step down from their thrones and mremove their robes and strip off their embroidered garments. They will clothe themselves with trembling; nthey will sit on the ground and otremble every moment and pbe appalled at you. 17And they will qraise a lamentation over you and say to you,

“‘How you have perished,
you who were inhabited from the seas,
O city renowned,
rwho was mighty on the sea;
she and her inhabitants simposed their terror
on all her inhabitants!
18Now the coastlands tremble
on the day of your fall,
and the coastlands that are on the sea
are dismayed at your passing.’
