Isaiah 21:11-12

11The aoracle concerning bDumah.

One is calling to me from cSeir,
Watchman, what time of the night?
Watchman, what time of the night?”
12The watchman says:
Morning comes, and also dthe night.
If you will inquire, einquire;
come back again.”

Matthew 16:3

3And in the morning, ‘It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ fYou know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret gthe signs of the times.

Matthew 24:42-44

42Therefore, hstay awake, for you do not know on what day iyour Lord is coming. 43 jBut know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night kthe thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. 44Therefore you also must be lready, for mthe Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

pyou have no need to have anything written to you.
2For you yourselves are fully aware that qthe day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then rsudden destruction will come upon them sas labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
