Isaiah 22:12-13

12 In that day ^athe Lord God of hosts
called for weeping and mourning,
for ^bbaldness and ^cwearing sackcloth;
13 and behold, joy and gladness,
killing oxen and slaughtering sheep,
eating flesh and drinking wine.
^d“Let us eat and drink,
for tomorrow we die.”

Isaiah 23:7

7 Is this your exultant city
^ewhose origin is from days of old,
whose feet carried her
to settle far away?

Isaiah 32:13

13 ^ffor the soil of my people
growing up in thorns and briers,
^gyes, for all the joyous houses
in the exultant city.

Amos 6:3-6
