Isaiah 23:1

An Oracle Concerning Tyre and Sidon

1The aoracle concerning bTyre.

Wail, O cships of Tarshish,
for Tyre is laid waste, dwithout house or harbor!
From ethe land of Cyprus
Hebrew Kittim; also verse 12

it is revealed to them.

Isaiah 23:6

6 gCross over to Tarshish;
wail, O inhabitants of the coast!

Isaiah 23:10

10Cross over your land like the Nile,
O daughter of Tarshish;
there is no restraint anymore.

Isaiah 60:9

9For hthe coastlands shall hope for me,
ithe ships of Tarshish first,
jto bring your children from afar,
their silver and gold with them,
for the name of the Lord your God,
and for the Holy One of Israel,
because khe has made you beautiful.

Isaiah 66:19

19and I will set a sign among them. And from them lI will send survivors to the nations, to mTarshish, nPul, and oLud, who draw the bow, to pTubal and qJavan, rto the coastlands far away, sthat have not heard my fame or seen my glory. And they shall declare my glory among the nations.

Ezekiel 27:12

12 tTarshish did ubusiness with you because of your great wealth of every kind; silver, iron, tin, and lead they exchanged for your vwares.

Jonah 1:3

3But Jonah wrose to flee to xTarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to yJoppa and found a ship going to zTarshish. So he paid the fare and went down into it, to go with them to aaTarshish, abaway from the presence of the Lord.
