Isaiah 24:1-2

Judgment on the Whole Earth

1 Behold, athe Lord will empty the earth
Or land; also throughout this chapter
and make it desolate,
and he will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants.
2 cAnd it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest;
as with the slave, so with his master;
as with the maid, so with her mistress;
das with the buyer, so with the seller;
as with the lender, so with the borrower;
eas with the creditor, so with the debtor.

Jeremiah 32:7-8

7Behold, Hanamel the son of Shallum your uncle will come to you and say, fBuy my field that is at gAnathoth, hfor the right of redemption by purchase is yours.’ 8Then Hanamel my cousin came to me in ithe court of the guard, in accordance with the word of the Lord, and said to me, ‘Buy my field that is at jAnathoth in the land of Benjamin, for the right of possession and redemption is yours; buy it for yourself.’ Then I knew that this was the word of the Lord.

Jeremiah 32:24-25

24Behold, kthe siege mounds have come up to the city to take it, and lbecause of sword and famine and pestilence mthe city is given into the hands of the Chaldeans who are fighting against it. What you spoke has come to pass, and behold, you see it. 25Yet you, O Lord God, have said to me, nBuy the field for money oand get witnesses”—though pthe city is given into the hands of the Chaldeans.’”
