Isaiah 24:1-3

Judgment on the Whole Earth

1 Behold, athe Lord will empty the earth
Or land; also throughout this chapter
and make it desolate,
and he will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants.
2 cAnd it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest;
as with the slave, so with his master;
as with the maid, so with her mistress;
das with the buyer, so with the seller;
as with the lender, so with the borrower;
eas with the creditor, so with the debtor.
3 fThe earth shall be utterly empty and utterly plundered;
gfor the Lord has spoken this word.

Isaiah 34:11

11 hBut the hawk and the porcupine
The identity of the animals rendered  hawk and  porcupine is uncertain
shall possess it,
the owl and the raven shall dwell in it.
jHe shall stretch the line of kconfusion
Hebrew formlessness
over it,
and the plumb line of emptiness.

Jeremiah 48:11-12

11 Moab has been at ease from his youth
and has msettled on his dregs;
he has not been emptied from vessel to vessel,
nor has he gone into exile;
so his taste remains in him,
and his scent is not changed.
12Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I shall send to him pourers who will pour him, and empty his vessels and break his

Nahum 2:2

2 For othe Lord is restoring the majesty of Jacob
as the majesty of Israel,
for plunderers have plundered them
and pruined their branches.

Nahum 2:9-10

9Plunder the silver,
plunder the gold!
There is no end of the treasure
or of the wealth of all precious things.
10 qDesolate! Desolation and ruin!
rHearts melt and sknees tremble;
tanguish is in all loins;
uall faces grow pale!
