Isaiah 24:10-12

10 ^aThe wasted city is broken down;
^bevery house is shut up so that none can enter.
11 ^cThere is an outcry in the streets for lack of wine;
^dall joy has grown dark;
the gladness of the earth is banished.
12 Desolation is left in the city;
the gates are battered into ruins.

Isaiah 27:10

10 ^eFor the fortified city is solitary,
a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness;
there the calf grazes;
there it lies down and strips its branches.

Isaiah 32:13-14

13 ^ffor the soil of my people
growing up in thorns and briers,
^gyes, for all the joyous houses
in the exultant city.
14 For the palace is forsaken,
the populous city deserted;
the hill and the watchtower
will become dens forever,
^ha joy of wild donkeys,
a pasture of flocks;

Isaiah 40:6-8

Jeremiah 19:11-13

Micah 3:12

12 Therefore because of you
