Isaiah 42:10-12

Sing to the Lord a New Song

10 ^gSing to the Lord a new song,
his praise from the end of the earth,
^hyou who go down to the sea, and all that fills it,
ⁱthe coastlands and their inhabitants.
11 Let the desert and its cities lift up their voice,
the villages that ^jKedar inhabits;
let the habitants of ^kSela sing for joy,
let them shout from the top of the mountains.
12 Let them give glory to the Lord,
and declare his praise in ^lthe coastlands.

Zephaniah 2:11

11 The Lord will be awesome against them;

John 4:21-23

21 Jesus said to her, ^p“Woman, believe me, ^qthe hour is coming when ^rneither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. 22 ^sYou worship what you do not know; ^twe worship what we know, for ^usalvation is ^vfrom the Jews. 23 But ^wthe hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father ^xin spirit and ^ytruth, for the Father ^zis seeking such people to worship him.

Acts 10:30-35

30 And Cornelius said, ^aa“Four days ago, about this hour, I was praying in my house at ^abthe ninth hour, ^{▼▼That is, 3 p.m.} and behold, ^ada man stood before me in bright clothing 31 and said, ‘Cornelius, ^aeyour prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before God. 32 Send therefore to Joppa and ask for Simon who is called Peter. He is lodging in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.’ 33 So I sent for you at once, and you have been kind enough to come. Now therefore we are all here in the presence of God to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord.”

Gentiles Hear the Good News

34 So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that ^afGod ^agshows no partiality, 35 but ^ahin every nation anyone who fears him and ^aidoes what is right is acceptable to him.
