Isaiah 24:5-6

5 The earth lies ^adefiled
under its inhabitants;
for ^bthey have transgressed the laws,
violated the statutes,
broken the everlasting covenant.
6 Therefore ^ca curse devours the earth,
and its inhabitants ^dsuffer for their guilt;
therefore the inhabitants of the earth are scorched,
and few men are left.

Isaiah 59:3

3 ^eFor your hands are defiled with blood
and your fingers with iniquity;
your lips have spoken lies;
your tongue mutters wickedness.

Ezekiel 20:18

18 “And I said to ^ftheir children in the wilderness, 'Do not walk ^gin the statutes of your fathers, nor keep their rules, ^hnor defile yourselves with their idols.

Ezekiel 20:30-31

30 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: ⁱWill you defile yourselves after the manner of your fathers and go ^jwhoring after their detestable things? 31 When you present your gifts and ^koffer up your children in fire, ^{▼▼Hebrew and make your children pass through the fire} you defile yourselves with all your idols to this day. Ezekiel 20:43
