Isaiah 24:8-9

8 ^aThe mirth of the tambourines is stilled,
the noise of the jubilant has ceased,
the mirth of the lyre is stilled.
9 No more do they drink wine ^bwith singing;
strong drink is bitter to those who drink it.

Amos 6:5-6

5 ^cwho sing idle songs to the sound of the harp
and like David ^dinvent for themselves instruments of music,
