The Coming of the Lord

13But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, tthat you may not grieve as others do uwho have no hope. 14For vsince we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him wthose who have fallen asleep. 15For this we declare to you xby a word from the Lord,
Or  by the word of the Lord
that zwe who are alive, who are left until aathe coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.
16For abthe Lord himself will descend acfrom heaven adwith a cry of command, with the voice of aean archangel, and afwith the sound of the trumpet of God. And agthe dead in Christ will rise first. 17Then we who are alive, who are left, will be ahcaught up together with them aiin the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so ajwe will always be with the Lord.
