You Keep Him in Perfect Peace

1In that day athis song will be sung in the land of Judah:

“We have a strong city;
he sets up bsalvation
as walls and bulwarks.

Isaiah 66:22

22 For as cthe new heavens and the new earth
that I make
shall remain before me, says the Lord,
so dshall your offspring and your name remain.

Jeremiah 23:5-6

5 eBehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous fBranch, and ghe shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. 6In his days Judah will be saved, and hIsrael will idwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called: j‘The Lord is our righteousness.’

Jeremiah 33:15-16

Ezekiel 34:22-29

The Lord’s Covenant of Peace

25 t“I will make with them a covenant of peace and ubanish wild beasts from the land, vso that they may dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods. 26And I will make them and the places all around my hill wa blessing, and xI will send down the showers in their season; they shall be yshowers of blessing. 27 zAnd the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, aaand they shall be secure in their land. And abthey shall know that I am the Lord, when acI break the bars of their yoke, and addeliver them from the hand of those who enslaved them. 28 aeThey shall no more be a prey to the nations, afnor shall the beasts of the land devour them. agThey shall dwell securely, and none shall make them afraid. 29And I will provide for them ahrenowned plantations so that aithey shall no more be consumed with hunger in the land, and no longer ajsuffer the reproach of the nations.

Zechariah 2:4

4and said to him, “Run, say to that young man, akJerusalem shall be inhabited alas villages without walls, because of amthe multitude of people and livestock in it.

Zechariah 8:4

4Thus says the Lord of hosts: anOld men and old women shall again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each with staff in hand because of great age.

Zechariah 8:8

8and I will bring them to dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. aoAnd they shall be my people, and I will be their God, apin faithfulness and in righteousness.”
