Isaiah 27:7

7 aHas he struck them bas he struck those who struck them?
Or have they been slain cas their slayers were slain?

Isaiah 27:9

9Therefore by this dthe guilt of Jacob will be atoned for,
and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin:
Septuagint  and this is the blessing when I take away his sin

fwhen he makes all the stones of the altars
like chalkstones crushed to pieces,
no gAsherim or incense altars will remain standing.

Hebrews 12:5-10

5And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons?

hMy son, ido not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,
nor be weary when reproved by him.
6For jthe Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and chastises every son whom he receives.”
7It is for discipline that you have to endure. kGod is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8If you are left without discipline, lin which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. 9Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to mthe Father of spirits nand live? 10For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, othat we may share his holiness.

Revelation of John 3:19

19 pThose whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.
