Isaiah 27:7

7 ^aHas he struck them ^bas he struck those who struck them?
Or have they been slain ^cas their slayers were slain?

Isaiah 27:9

9 Therefore by this ^dthe guilt of Jacob will be atoned for,
and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: ^{▼▼Septuagint and this is the blessing when I take away his sin}
^fwhen he makes all the stones of the altars
like chalkstones crushed to pieces,
no ^gAsherim or incense altars will remain standing.

Hebrews 12:5-10

5 And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons?

^h“My son, ⁱdo not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,
nor be weary when reproved by him.
6 For ^jthe Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and chastises every son whom he receives.”
7 It is for discipline that you have to endure. ^kGod is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8 If you are left without discipline, ^lin which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. 9 Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to ^mthe Father of spirits ⁿand live? 10 For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, ^othat we may share his holiness.

Revelation of John 3:19
