Isaiah 27:9

9Therefore by this athe guilt of Jacob will be atoned for,
and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin:
Septuagint  and this is the blessing when I take away his sin

cwhen he makes all the stones of the altars
like chalkstones crushed to pieces,
no dAsherim or incense altars will remain standing.

Ezekiel 7:19

19They cast their silver into the streets, and their gold is like an unclean thing. eTheir silver and gold are not able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord. They cannot satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it. fFor it was gthe stumbling block of their iniquity.

Ezekiel 14:3-7

3 hSon of man, these men have taken their idols into their hearts, and set ithe stumbling block of their iniquity before their faces. jShould I indeed let myself be consulted by them? 4Therefore speak to them and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Any one of the house of Israel who takes his idols into his heart and sets the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and yet comes to the prophet, kI the Lord will answer him as he comes with the multitude of his idols, 5 lthat I may lay hold of the hearts of the house of Israel, mwho are all estranged from me through their idols.

6Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: nRepent and turn away from your idols, and turn away your faces from all your abominations. 7For any one of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel, owho separates himself from me, taking his idols into his heart and putting the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and yet comes to a prophet to consult me through him, pI the Lord will answer him myself.

Ezekiel 44:12

12Because they ministered to them before their idols and became qa stumbling block of iniquity to the house of Israel, therefore I have rsworn concerning them, declares the Lord God, and they shall bear their punishment.

Hosea 14:3
