Isaiah 28:16

16 therefore thus says the Lord God,

Luke 2:34

Romans 9:32-33

32 Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the ^fstumbling stone, 33 as it is written,

Romans 11:9-11

9 And David says,

a stumbling block and a retribution for them;

Gentiles Grafted In

11 So I ask, did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! Rather, through their trespass ^lsalvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous.

Romans 11:35
