Isaiah 28:22
22Now therefore do not ascoff,lest your bonds be made strong;
for I have heard ba decree of destruction
from the Lord God of hosts against the whole land.
Isaiah 30:12-14
12Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel,“Because you despise this word
and trust in coppression and perverseness
and rely on them,
13therefore this iniquity shall be to you
dlike a breach in a high wall, bulging out and about to collapse,
whose breaking comes suddenly, in an instant;
14and its breaking is elike that of a potter’s vessel
that is smashed so ruthlessly
that among its fragments not a shard is found
with which to take fire from the hearth,
or to dip up water out of the cistern.”
Daniel 9:26-27
26And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall fbe cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come gshall destroy the city and the sanctuary. hIts ▼▼Or His
end shall come with a flood, jand to the end there shall be war. kDesolations are decreed. 27And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, ▼▼Or seven; twice in this verse
and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. mAnd on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until nthe decreed end is poured out on the desolator.” Matthew 24:21
