Isaiah 29:2-3

2 Yet I will distress Ariel,
and there shall be moaning and lamentation,

3 ^bAnd I will encamp against you all around,
and will besiege you ^cwith towers
and I will raise siegeworks against you.

Jeremiah 6:5-6

5 Arise, and let us attack by night
and destroy her palaces!”
6 For thus says the Lord of hosts:
^d“Cut down her trees;
^ecast up a siege mound against Jerusalem.
This is the city that must be ^fpunished;
there is nothing but oppression within her.
