Isaiah 29:2-3

2Yet I will distress Ariel,
and there shall be moaning and lamentation,
and she shall be to me like an Ariel.
 Ariel could mean lion of God, or hero (2 Samuel 23:20), or altar hearth (Ezekiel 43:15–16)

3 bAnd I will encamp against you all around,
and will besiege you cwith towers
and I will raise siegeworks against you.

Jeremiah 6:5-6

5Arise, and let us attack by night
and destroy her palaces!”
6 For thus says the Lord of hosts:
d“Cut down her trees;
ecast up a siege mound against Jerusalem.
This is the city that must be fpunished;
there is nothing but oppression within her.
