Isaiah 29:22-24
22Therefore thus says the Lord, awho redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob:“Jacob shall no more be ashamed,
no more shall his face grow pale.
23For when he sees his children,
bthe work of my hands, in his midst,
they will sanctify my name;
cthey will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob
and will stand in awe of the God of Israel.
24And those dwho go astray in spirit will come to understanding,
and those who murmur will accept instruction.”
Isaiah 41:17
17 eWhen the poor and needy seek water,and there is none,
and their tongue is parched with thirst,
I the Lord will answer them;
I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
James 2:5
5Listen, my beloved brothers, fhas not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be grich in faith and heirs of hthe kingdom, iwhich he has promised to those who love him?
