11 aWoe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him,
for what his hands have dealt out shall be done to him.

Ezekiel 7:4-8

4 bAnd my eye will not spare you, nor will I have pity, but cI will punish you for your ways, while your abominations are in your midst. dThen you will know that I am the Lord.

5Thus says the Lord God: Disaster eafter disaster!

The meaning of the Hebrew word is uncertain; also verse 10
has come to you, O inhabitant of the land. jThe time has come; the day is near, a day of tumult, and not kof joyful shouting on the mountains.
8Now I will soon lpour out my wrath upon you, and mspend my anger against you, nand judge you according to your ways, and I will punish you for all your abominations.

Ezekiel 18:30

30Therefore oI will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, declares the Lord God. pRepent and turn from all your transgressions, qlest iniquity be your ruin.
Or lest iniquity be your stumbling block

Romans 2:5-10

5But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are sstoring up twrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.

6 uHe will render to each one according to his works: 7to those who vby patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; 8but for those who are self-seeking

9There will be tribulation and distress yfor every human being who does evil, the Jew zfirst and also the Greek, 10but glory and honor and aapeace for everyone who does good, abthe Jew first and also the Greek.
