Isaiah 3:12

12My peopleainfants are their oppressors,
and women rule over them.
O my people, byour guides mislead you
and they have swallowed up
Or  they have confused
the course of your paths.

Isaiah 28:7

7 dThese also reel with wine
and estagger with strong drink;
the priest and fthe prophet reel with strong drink,
they are swallowed by
Or confused by
wine,
they stagger with strong drink,
they reel in vision,
they stumble in giving judgment.

Isaiah 56:10-12

10 hHis watchmen are blind;
they are all without knowledge;
they are all silent idogs;
they cannot bark,
dreaming, lying down,
loving to slumber.
11 jThe dogs have a mighty appetite;
they never have enough.
But kthey are shepherds who have no understanding;
they have all turned to their own way,
leach to his own gain, one and all.
12 mCome,” they say, “let me get wine;
let us fill ourselves with strong drink;
nand tomorrow will be like this day,
great beyond measure.”

Jeremiah 5:31

31 othe prophets prophesy falsely,
and the priests rule at their direction;
pmy people love to have it so,
but what will you do when the end comes?

Jeremiah 23:11-15

11 qBoth prophet and priest are ungodly;
even rin my house I have found their evil,

declares the Lord.
12 sTherefore their way shall be to them
like slippery paths tin the darkness,
into which they shall be driven and fall,
for I will bring disaster upon them
uin the year of their punishment,

declares the Lord.
13In the prophets of vSamaria
wI saw an unsavory thing:
xthey prophesied by Baal
yand led my people Israel astray.
14But in the prophets of Jerusalem
I have seen a horrible thing:
zthey commit adultery and walk in lies;
aathey strengthen the hands of evildoers,
so that no one turns from his evil;
aball of them have become like Sodom to me,
acand its inhabitants like Gomorrah.”
15Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets:
adBehold, I will feed them with bitter food
aeand give them afpoisoned water to drink,
for from the prophets of Jerusalem
ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”

Lamentations 4:13-14

13 This was for agthe sins of her prophets
and ahthe iniquities of her priests,
who shed in the midst of her
the blood of the righteous.
14 aiThey wandered, blind, through the streets;
they were so defiled with blood
ajthat no one was able to touch
their garments.

Ezekiel 22:25-28

25 akThe conspiracy of her prophets in her midst is allike a roaring lion amtearing the prey; they have devoured human lives; they have taken treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in her midst. 26 anHer priests aohave done violence to my law and aphave profaned my holy things. aqThey have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they taught the difference between the unclean and the clean, and arthey have disregarded my Sabbaths, asso that I am profaned among them. 27 atHer princes in her midst are like wolves autearing the prey, avshedding blood, destroying lives to get dishonest gain. 28And awher prophets have smeared whitewash for them, axseeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ when the Lord has not spoken.
