Isaiah 3:17-26

17therefore the Lord awill strike with a scab
the heads of bthe daughters of Zion,
and the Lord will lay bare their secret parts.
18In that day the Lord will take away cthe finery of the anklets, the dheadbands, and the ecrescents; 19the pendants, the bracelets, and the scarves; 20the fheaddresses, the armlets, the sashes, the perfume boxes, and the amulets; 21the signet rings and gnose rings; 22the hfestal robes, the mantles, the cloaks, and the handbags; 23the mirrors, the linen garments, the turbans, and the veils.

24 Instead of iperfume there will be rottenness;
and instead of a jbelt, a rope;
and instead of kwell-set hair, lbaldness;
and instead of a rich robe, a mskirt of sackcloth;
and nbranding instead of beauty.
25Your men shall fall by the sword
and your mighty men in battle.
26And oher gates shall lament and mourn;
empty, she shall psit on the ground.

Isaiah 24:7-12

7 qThe wine mourns,
the vine languishes,
all the merry-hearted sigh.
8 rThe mirth of the tambourines is stilled,
the noise of the jubilant has ceased,
the mirth of the lyre is stilled.
9No more do they drink wine swith singing;
strong drink is bitter to those who drink it.
10 tThe wasted city is broken down;
uevery house is shut up so that none can enter.
11 vThere is an outcry in the streets for lack of wine;
wall joy has grown dark;
the gladness of the earth is banished.
12Desolation is left in the city;
the gates are battered into ruins.

Jeremiah 25:10-11

10Moreover, xI will banish from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, ythe grinding of the millstones and zthe light of the lamp. 11 aaThis whole land shall become a ruin and a waste, and abthese nations shall serve the king of Babylon acseventy years.

Hosea 3:4
