Isaiah 3:26

26And aher gates shall lament and mourn;
empty, she shall bsit on the ground.

Isaiah 7:23-24

23In that day every place where there used to be a thousand vines, worth a thousand shekels
A  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
of silver, will become dbriers and thorns.
24 eWith bow and arrows a man will come there, for all the land will be briers and thorns.

Isaiah 24:3

3 fThe earth shall be utterly empty and utterly plundered;
gfor the Lord has spoken this word.

Isaiah 24:12

12Desolation is left in the city;
the gates are battered into ruins.

Isaiah 64:10-11

10 hYour holy cities have become a wilderness;
Zion has become a wilderness,
Jerusalem a desolation.
11 iOur holy and beautiful
Or  holy and glorious
house,
where our fathers praised you,
has been burned by fire,
and all our pleasant places have become ruins.

Jeremiah 4:7

7 kA lion has gone up from his thicket,
a destroyer of nations has set out;
he has gone out from his place
to make your land a waste;
your cities will be ruins
lwithout inhabitant.

Jeremiah 4:23-29

23 I looked on the earth, and behold, it was mwithout form and void;
nand to the heavens, and they had no light.
24I looked on othe mountains, and behold, they were quaking,
and all the hills moved to and fro.
25 pI looked, and behold, there was no man,
and all the birds of the air had fled.
26I looked, and behold, the qfruitful land was a desert,
and all its cities were laid in ruins
before the Lord, before rhis fierce anger.
27For thus says the Lord, “The whole land shall be a desolation; syet I will not make a full end.

28 tFor this the earth shall mourn,
uand the heavens above be dark;
for I have spoken; I have purposed;
vI have not relented, nor will I turn back.”
29 At the noise of horseman and archer
every city takes to flight;
they enter thickets; they climb among rocks;
all the cities are forsaken,
and wno man dwells in them.

Ezekiel 15:6

6Therefore thus says the Lord God: xLike the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest, ywhich I have given to the fire for fuel, so have I given up the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Ezekiel 15:8

8 zAnd I will make the land desolate, because aathey have acted faithlessly, declares the Lord God.”
