Isaiah 30:10-11

10 awho say to bthe seers, “Do not see,”
and to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us what is right;
speak to us csmooth things,
prophesy illusions,
11leave the way, turn aside from the path,
let us hear no more about the Holy One of Israel.”

Jeremiah 11:21

21Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the men of dAnathoth, ewho seek your life, and say, f“Do not prophesy in the name of the Lord, or you will die by our hand”—

Jeremiah 26:11

11Then gthe priests and the prophets said to the officials and to all the people, hThis man deserves the sentence of death, because he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your own ears.”

Amos 7:12-13

12And Amaziah said to Amos, i“O seer, go, flee away jto the land of Judah, and keat bread there, and prophesy there, 13but lnever again prophesy at Bethel, for mit is the king’s sanctuary, and it is a temple of the kingdom.”

Micah 2:6

Matthew 21:34-38

34When the season for fruit drew near, he sent his servants

to the tenants rto get his fruit.
35 sAnd the tenants took his servants and beat one, killed another, and tstoned another. 36 uAgain he sent other servants, more than the first. And they did the same to them. 37Finally he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ 38But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, vThis is the heir. Come, wlet us kill him and have his inheritance.’
